Hi,

I have recently finished constructing the DL2TM programmer (www.qsl.netdl2tm) for the 89CX051 microcontrollers. I am
however unable to program the microcontroller with it. The various driver softwares seem to give a
consistent result. The READ part of the software seems to work. However the WRITE/PROGRAM part does
not function.

The circuit is implemented on a 4"x4" veroboard. The printer port lead is approx. 24" in length. I am
using an IBM Thinkpad 600E laptop for the programming. I have tried using BASCOM-8051 (demo version)
as well as the various versions of the programming software given on the DL2TM website. I have tried
replacing component ICs, without any success.

I would greatly appreciate any help in this regard.
