Wow...

Ok I was doing some testing and fired up my spider's web, what I call my development environment. It is a JDR Microdevices breadboard with 8031 etc. Above, I have a florescent light that came from a retail shop with 6'-0" tubes. I don't know that that matters, but what does really matter is that one of the bulbs was/is going bad and is flickering. Well, it must be inducing quite a voltage as it is 4' above and completly wipes out my display. Memory mapped 8 x 8 diode matrix. (2 74374's connected to some surplus thing I got somewhere). I put in a new bulb (florescent) and all's well. Interesting lesson for me.
