to read a keypad inclusive debouncing:

Often the keys are not in the right order.
To convert the key number to the right key code
use a table and the "MOVC A, @A+DPTR" instruction.

To combine the key sequence (key by key) to a number
use the function "AMULA10" on my page:

To do it max 5 times use the "DJNZ" instruction and return after this.
And return also, if the # key was detected (use "CJNE").
