OK, I am at a loss. I need to program a button that when it is pressed it will do one thing and if it is held for a lenth of time it will do something else. Like setting a clock, you press a button to advance the time by one or hold it to advance the time by ten. I have drawn a blank as to how this would be done in C for a 8051 controller and the hardware that would be required. Can anybody help me out?
