#34306 - RE: T89C51CC01 activate bootloader |
J:
You may want to also try Erik Malund's method which is to reset the boot vector, then enable watchdog to cause a reset. Andy: Yes. I thought about that, however it is risky. If I have a piece of code that clears BLJB and causes a reset then if my code goes wild it could jump there, and all future resets would jump to the bootloader. no, no, no The NoTouch will ONLY invoke the bootloader if the puppy bites during the NoTouch process. Also, should a jump to the bootloader happen a "normal" (no funny pin holdups or holddowns) reset such as power on will not boot. Erik PS what is a BLJB ? |
