Where can i find the data sheet of various Lcd ( like 24x2 24x8 etc.)?

Also if i want to design a keypad with 8 keys can i use pushbutton?

one last question, to interface the lcd the microcontroller, can i use a normal breadbroad or do i need to fabricate the lcd on a PCB?
