Hi Erik,

there is no way to make it significant faster.

Only on using a higher crystal or a high speed derivate:

E.g. the Siemens C505 at 20MHz looks like an 8051 at 40MHz.

Or the Dallas DS80C320 at 33MHz execute some instructions
like an 8051 at 99MHz (about 75MHz in practice).
