#34707 - RE: Xilinx XC18V04 re-writing using an 8051 |
Thanks for your replies.
It is the JTAG interface. The idea is not to simulate the interface to program the FPGA (Virtex) from the microcontroller, I need to rewrite the serial prom from the controller. My board needs to be based on a T89C51CC01 (need the CAN ...) Since the internal memory is not enough to initialise the Virtex, I want to download new configuration data into the serial prom. An integrated solution does not work due to the CAN interface and it is a little (...) to expensive to buy either a license to implement a CAN controller or a 8051 inside the FPGA ... Did anyone already reprogram a XC18V04 (or similar) with a 8051 ? |
