The P89C51RD2 is very selective in its user-base, it never works perfectly for some unfortunate people like me, no matter what you do, the chip simply refuses to get detected after the first programming. Maybe people like Erik have a special way with Philips chips :-)


If you had included the code exactly as described in backdoor.doc on my home page, you would not have problems.

again, this can not be done after the fact it has to be included before you need to rescue the chip.
