#35245 - strange behaviour POF bit |
the Power Off flag in original Intel 80C52 is set only when power rises form 0V to 5V
This way one can distinguish between a cold restart and a warm restart I used an Atmel 89C52 and surprise ; the POF bit was also set in a warm restart,i.e. when the power is kept during reset by watchdog. This means Atmel is not fully compatibel to original Intel. Why is this so ? Is there not a POF bit in Atmel parts ? |
