Check into WWW.Lynxmotion.com, they sell servo boards in two flavors, 8 and 16. Uses a single rs232 port to address up to 8 or 16 servos, relieving your cpu the tedium of constantly updating every servo. You just tell it which servo and where to move it. I believe these boards can be interconnected so the same rs232 port can address up to over 250 servos.
