#35285 - RE: STOP |
Please STOP
Every time this discussion has occured (last for abt 2 months on the Philips forum) it turns "religous". Some people want to use all assembler and have valid reasons for doing so. Some people want to use all C and have valid reasons for doing so. Some people use a mix and have valid reasons for doing so. The choice really comes doen to 5 things 1) What tools do you have (an assembler is free a good compiler cost money). 2) What language(s) are you comfortable with. 3) What is your application. 4) Are you designing for low or high volume production. 5) Are you such a bigot that you will not even consider the other possibility.
