I am using an ADC0808 which is giving the digital value of temperature but the problem is that I need to convert the value to a fractional and then display it, for example I get a value of 00000001 from the adc for decimal one now if I divide this by 2 I get a fractional value of 0.5 in decimal I need to know how can I use this value or how I could represent this value in the controller for manipulation of further tasks.
