As you must by now have gathered, you can't. A PNP transistor is effectively the "inverse" of an NPN - the two P-N juntions are reversed (hence the names!) Therefore, you'd have to "invert" the whole of the rest of the circuit to match! Far easier to find a replacement of the correct polarity! |
