That sounds a little like a process known as "Dynamic Programming" wherein we're taught to sometimes solve problems by working it backwards. It works great for logistical and routing problems. By the way, the term "Programming" above is NOT like the way we use it here. Its more like "Linear Programming" - another mathemaical process not involving opcodes. -Jay C.
