#35737 - RE: Picture Posting |
Image posting:
1) First you need to be a registered member with an 8052.com home page area. 2) Create the image as a graphics file. The best format for line graphics is the GIF format. JPEG can tend to fuzz the picture when you try to save it to a highly compressed size (i.e. JPG compression is lossy). 3) Download the GIF file to the www.8052.com home page area using the cool uploader facility Craig has on your home page manager screen. 4) Click on the picture link from the manager screen to display the graphic in your browser window. 5) Copy the complete URL of the picture from the browser Address/URL box to the Windows clipboard. 6) Prepare a post on the 8052.com forum while you are a "logged in user" so you can use HTML tags in the post. 7) In the post, at the place you want to insert the graphic, use the HTML tag: <img src=""> 8) In between the double quotes of the HTML tag paste in the URL of the graphic. For example the full image tag for the 12 volt driver picture I posted appears as: <img src="">http://www.8052.com/users/mka... Have fun posting images. Michael Karas |
