#35750 - speaker connected to 8051 |
hi all
i am trying to connect a speaker to the 8051 so that when a key is pressed on the keypad then there is some tune from the speaker. what i am doing as i saw it on a article fromn the net is that connect the port pin with a resister which is connected to one terminal of the speaker and the other terminor to the groun. generating tunes in the software is not a problem for me.. but hardware sees to be having some problem i think i can hear some tune from speaker but its very hard to hear infact attach your ear with the speaker. i think there is not enough current for the speaker. so any suggestion for the speaker interface to microcontroller and also how to control the loudness of the speaker.
