#3593 - RE: How to overcome LSS: |
Me too.
I like designing the algorithms and circuitry and even the geometry of laying out PCBs but once I have the whole project figured out, its hard to sit down and write mundane firmware without getting bored. When I have a challenging peice of code to write, I can write copious amounts for all sections of the project but when it gets mundane, my code writing abilities suffer from "vapor lock" and I start hanging out on 8052 forum looking for more interesting problems. :-) I'm relying more upon others to write the non-critical code. I'm teaching younger family members the art of assembly language programming (its more secure in family hands because they don't leave with knowledge to work for our competitors). And the "Nintendo Generation" as I call them take to computers a lot quicker than many engineers I've worked with. -Jay C. Box |
