You must use extended 251 addressing modes where you have 16 bit direct or indirect addressing, but you need a 251 supporting assembler like A251.

An example:

MOV WR0,#2100h
MOV R11,@WR0

You can read a data from location 2100H into register R11 that is mapped also as ACC register, but register related instructions are faster.
