Oh I see,what you need to do is define some part of your memory map as an input port,then arrange the memory chip select logic to disable the main memory and enable yourinput devicewhen that memory location is read from.So reading from the momory location switches between the main memory and the other device(s).
Its called memory mapped I/O and if you search on google you can probably get a better explaination. |
