Never heard of that, even though I've been into PCB hobby-production for 20 years or so. But even IF this statement would be true, we could also discuss tonights dinner, wouldn't we: hobbyiests need to eat as well.

Seriously: there are many (and I mean: hundreds) of sites on the internet that can be easily found using nothing more than Google or Yahoo or whatever search-engine you can imagine that that deal with amateur PCB production, development, etching, plating, after-care, you name it. This may be the easiest entry but take this from me: searching for an answer in the right place teaches you more than dropping your question in the first place you can think of.
