Threads with just questions can serve a purpose.

I think that a lot of the dead threads are due to a question making the originator of the tread realize the problem by answering the question, unfortunately that is rarely posted.

Then, of course, there are the threads that start off with "send me the code" and in those cases, I am sure the lack of answers are due to "if they will not send me the code they are idiots".
