#37175 - RE: ORG directive failing? |
Steve,
I was looking for the opcodes of the actual 8051 instructions at specific locations in the OBJ file. But if the OBJ format varies by assembler, that may be my problem. Because this is originally disassembled code, I am able to compare the original code to my assembled code. I got a reply from Tasking which said I was out of service contract (doh!). So, instead I downloaded the free MetaLink compiler and it works perfectly now! The code assembles and runs as expected... so I guess I won't be using the Tasking compiler from now on. Thanks again for all the help! John K. |
