I know this is a little off the subject....But if you do end up needing to convert Intel Hex files to binary format AND you are running on a platform like Win2000 you will find that the common HEX2BIN utilities that you can get off the sites such as Atmel or Keil will choke trying to run off the command line box of Windows. I have an alternative new version of a HEX2BIN that I wrote in Microsoft VC++ that runs as a Win32 console app and so will not choke on the Win2000 command line box.
