The Phillips data sheet (Jan 2001) mentions that the timer count source can be 1/2 osc, and I have extrapolated (alright, guessed) that it could count at Fosc/2 externally too. I don't really see why the PCA should care about Fosc at all really- why can't it be asynchronous ?
