#38066 - RE: timer2 b.rate gen. and T2EX interrupt ? |
Timer 2 implementations vary somewhat from manufacturer to manufacturer and from variant to variant. Some TMR2s can be configured such that the baud rate generator can be active and the T2EX can be made to generate a negeative edge detect interrupt at the same time. Generally speaking in this mode (if available on your particular variant) the timer will not re-load or capture on the T2EX transition. However you may need to check the operation carefully. My experience with TMR2's is that the documentation many times does not adequately describe operation of TMR2 so you have to "try and fly".
