The terms "serial port" and "RS-232" are by no means synonymous! Do you need RS-232 because the micro and FPGA are some distance apart? Or do you just want a serial link? Does it need to be an asynchronous serial link? We need a whole lot more information to make any sense at all of what you're trying to do - let alone why! |
