Another possibility is he has sample code that was written for a PC that he'd like to use for the 8052 and is asking what the equivalence is for a given instruction. I don't think you'll find outb nor inpb supported for any 8052 compiler, old or new.
So perhaps his compiler is perfectly adequate, he just needs to know how to adapt the outb and inpb instructions for an 8052 compiler? In the end, we really need more information from Frank. Regards, Craig Steiner |
