#38526 - RE: s51
Responding to: ???'s previous message
<html>
i like s51. it's unix, command-line, with free source. i found the source easy to read and modify.
the SDCC home page sdcc.sourceforge.net says it has a debugger based on s51, so the s51 source and binaries should be included with the sdcc source and binaries (i would guess). since they have windows binaries, s51 may or may not have a graphical front end within the sdcc environment (the sdcc home page says the sdcc IDE is under development, so maybe not).
you could also run s51 standalone under the Cygwin unix environment (this environment runs in a window under MS-Windows; see www.cygwin.org).

i didn't use the s51 with sdcc, i went to Daniel Drotos' home page and downloaded it from there (search for his name on google and maybe you can find it).
