And that is all with the "more typical standard" 8052 clones. Other derivatives give additional flexibility. In a Cygnal 'F126 for example the baud rates for each of the two uarts can be seperately configured. UART1 can come from Timer 1 and Uart 0 can come from Timer 1, Timer 2, Timer 3, or Timer 4. Note on this puppy the Timer 3 and 4 are similar in function to the "typical" timer 2 but slightly different and alternate layout for the ways the timer control SFRs function.
