I am now planning to use the Atmel AT89LS8252 with the ISP facility and have downloaded the needed ISP software.

But I am stuck with the required cable not being available - understand it has to come from Atmel / US and will need 4 weeks. And I dont have that kind of time...

This is a 10Way FRC cable ( only 6 pins used )that terminates in a FRC header on one end and to the 25Pin Parallel port on the other end . I would like to know from anybody who has this cable, the pin numbers in the 25Pin parallel port connector to which the following signals are connected :

SCK (P1.7)
MISO ( P1.6)
RST
MOSI (P1.5)
GND
VCC

Once I know the above I can get the cable made and get going.
