#38715 - RE: Has anyone tried PEQui 8051 Simulator? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Yes I have tried it.
Really good for a free program and to know that it was developed by a group of 5th year engineering students is a nice feeling. I dont think it has a BreakPoint facility - or does it ? Virtually all possible and useful SFRs are on view and it is possible to alter Port bits directly. In simulation mode at times it is preferable to halt execution by checking a port pin which is in our control. Particularly if you do not have a breakpoint facility. Yes, by and large it is OK. and it IS free. Raghu |
