The Micro$oft "Wav" format (like all "RIFF" formats) expects buffering to achieve apparent continuity.
Data is provided in "chunks" specifically to allow the replay mechanism to "strategize" playback. Instead of stripping the WAV Header in the PC it may make more sense to ship it to the '51, allow the '51 control program to buffer and replay the sample chunk. regards, p |
