In this document there is a reference to a sample program that can be run on this board that runs the A/D converter in a continuous manner. Studying this program should permit you to see just how to interface the A/D with software. This program is available off the CDROM that comes with the EVM in the folder RideDaqEvm.

In addition to that here is a link to a TI web page for the MSC1210 Users Guide. If you look at Chapter 12 of this manual you will see all the details about the A/D converter on this part. Included are sample code sequences showing how to setup and use various features.
