#38855 - RE: to measure the pulse width Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Michael,
whats wrong on using T0 ? To measure the high duration of a signal, the T0 or T1 in gated mode was ideally suited. Hi Jeff, the first main questions on all measuring tasks are: - which range ? - which accuracy ? Dont fear to do some 16 or 32 bit calculations to convert the measuring result into the right dimensions. There are lot af mathematics already written for the 8051, e.g.: http://www.specs.de/users/dan.../index.htm Peter |
