I just emailed you an image of a 3D view of a PLCC44 on a PCB with actual traces. It looks like a photograph but its all computer generated. I took a prototype layout, removed strategic IC and devices , generated the 3D perspective view, then pasted the right edge of the board over most of the PCB reducing it to 1/3 its width. It was a fun lunch project.

I'll see if we have a 40pin DIP model and with it I'll generate a gif about 500x300 with only the chip over a transparent background.
