#39150 - Building Telephone exchanges Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Usman & Ijaz, I have been reading this thread out of sheer curioisty and I am amazed. The amount of hardware and software that needs to be organized; the amount of detailing to be done on the interconnect cabling; the way to package the whole product and finally to make it as reliable as a researched and executed telecom product is going to be tough - to say the least. With the amount of varieties in the market for such KTS or PBX or intercom systems, is there still some 'needs' that cannot be met by standard product mixes ? If the answer is 'yes' then all the trouble is justified. Or maybe it is quite interesting for someone in this line that they enjoy doing this. To me these small boxes with plenty of blinking lights by the side of a good looking receptionist will ever remain black boxes. Bye Raghu |
