Table 12 and Figure 25 agree completely....You have to select which mode you desire.....In the first post you mentioned Mode 0. In the figure it clearly shows that baud rate clock is f_osc/6. Same is stated in top line of Table 12. MODE 0 is the synchronous shift register mode so the clock that comes out the TxD0 line will be f_osc/6.
