    MOV   A,#24H        ;load A with 24H (hours)
    MOV   B,#2          ;2 (for *2 doubling)
    MUL   AB            ;result in A register


Note: The OV flag will be set under conditions where the result goes beyond the expected 48Hours and exceeds FFHours. At French Fryer level be assured things will be getting pretty crispy.
