Hello Everyone,
May I say that I missed this site the days it was down.

I am working on a project that requires me to use a Motorola 68HC16 micro with C codes.
I am used to working with registers (for variables) but this MCU seems to be different. The instruction set has commands that operate on memory regions (not the i/o s or SFRs). Does this mean that we have to difine variables in the memory (program / data?) and use them?
Could any good soul out there kinldy help me on this. I am running out of time and patience. Motorola appln notes does not take me anywhere.
Would be helpful if you could pass me some sample start up codes.
