#4049 - Iready to start work |
Having reviewed the options of dedicated hardware, a home built stack or a commericial stack, I have come down firmly on the side of Iready for my new project. $5000 + for the code is really not on, and you are bound to use a C compiler too from what I can gather. Iready stands to cost about $8 /device and will interface very easily with an 8052 and a modem. Its a pity they haven't got an ethernet connector chip yet, but I'm sure that must be around the corner
We just don't seem to be able to sustan the necessary interest to get the home built stack idea off the ground do we ? Steve |
