#40962 - Fixed it Responding to: ???'s previous message |
After spenidng all night (we are now in Friday - Morning) thinking it was the software, as every little change in the software had a big change in the resulting output
I tracked it down to a hardware fault, I have a couple of LED's on the TX RX lines from the Micro (buffered of course) to inidcate activity, however it appears that the value of R driving the base of the Transisitor is not high enough and is loading the TX Line causing it to miss the first couple of bits in a message. Or something along those lines, I have to look a little closer now I know what it is. Thanks for the help Regards Marshall |
