I have a rather naive question to ask.
Is floating point math used widely with microcontrollers? Microprocessors require dedicated FPUs for such opertations, does it make sense to use these with uc's? Or are the FP calculations with uc's restriced to simple ones?? most of the floating point divison algorithms involve using lookup tables, won't that eat into the code memory of the controller??
