Hi Dennis,
please can you tell us, how many data you want to keep and how often they are altered. As discussed earlier any battery in your system drops the reliability and increase the whole cost (maintenance included). E.g. I use cheap serial EEPROM (e.g. 24C02) to hold data during power off. Its a real challenge to protect data in the SRAM. Thus, why these chips are so expensive. Peter |
