Yes, I'm part of a group designing a 80c51 compatible chip... I'm just making sure we were interpreting the spec as it's commonly understood.
What I meant by the comment was that I wasn't sure if the behavior of the XCH is really the more useful of the choices (RMW or not RMW), but either way, we'll implement it the way the spec says. |
