The answer to your question is that old processors don't die they just get new features added on to them,and as the8052 is an industry standard then it will be around in one form or another for a long time yet.
I have many tools that use serial and printer ports like most people round here so I am not really going to stop using them just because computer manufactures dont want to support them anymore. and the best skill to have is the ability to laugh at your pointy haired boss. |
