But where is the problem ? As long as you dont write anything to the SRAM during the boot up, what difference does it make -whether it is NV or S RAM ? And what type of NVRAM you have in mind?

OK if you are referring to EEPROMs then may be there is case with slower speeds - depending on the type - but that can be verified easily.
