I am planning to use 51 series processors for designing 3 phase AC motor speed control system. This require generation Variable Frequency & amplitude high power 3 Phase AC wave form generation using PWM tech. Lots of dedicated 51(infene) & other series(ST,Moto) UC are available for the purpose but they are very costly. I am designing a very low cost drive for day to day home appliance aplications. I found 89C51RD2 is suitable for the purpose from cost as well as features point of view.
Has anybody done any work in this area particularly using 51 series proc? Beofre starting I want some direction guidance.
