#41806 - Compact Flash with FAT16 |
I know this topic has been passed around before, but I am coming at it for the first time.
I am design a stand-alone system that is using a 8051 to interface with a compact flash card. The ATA/IDE interface and timing is no problem. It is the FAT16 file management that is killing me. All I need to do is the following: 1. open/create a file 2. check file max size 3. append data 4. close the file I will be using a CF reader to upload the data to the PC. Is there some 'c' source code available out there to do this quickly? Also, what are best book to have on hand for this task. |
