The PCB will have the addition of the circuit shown on page 51 figure 4.3. This will allow you to program such devices as 28c64 or 28c16 by setting a jumper not shown in the drawing.
By doing this you will be able to run programs on your 80c52basic without a computer connected. I also plan to include jumpers that will allow the EEPROM to be place at 0H instead of 8000H. This will allow the board to be used with any assembler or compiler if the need arises. All the unused I/O pins, the data and address bus and puwer supply will go to a 0.1 inch spacing connector to allow performing the rest of the experiments noted in the book. |
